Manhattan Recipe
It’s World Whiskey Day and there could not be something better to transition to spring #cocktailing than a Manhattan. Award-winning High West Distillery has been making a name for itself since 2006, becoming Utah’s first legal distillery since 1870 and the only ski-in gastro-distillery in the world. It is definitely worth the trip if you’re in the area.
This Manhattan is one of the many sweet things on the menu:
2 oz High West Double Rye
0.75 oz Sweet Vermouth (Antica)
2-3 dashes Angostura Bitters
Brandied Cherries Garnish (Luxardo)
Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice until chilled. Strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with brandied cherries.
