Young Survival Coalition (YSC)

Today our #spotlight is on this amazing organization making a huge impact in the lives of young adults fighting breast cancer. Young Survival Coalition was founded in 1998 by a group of women who were all diagnosed with breast cancer under the age of 40. They recognized that young adults were missing from the conversation around breast cancer and YSC was formed to make a change.

More than 20 years later Young Survival Coalition has become a leading resource for education, making connections and empowering young adults fighting breast cancer. With more than 170 local networking groups, online resources and tools, and the largest conference dedicated to young survivors and co-survivors, YSC has created an engaged and inspirational community.

One of the key annual events is the Tour De Pink. Founded in 1994, TDP has become a community event and fundraiser. There is an East and West Coast ride made up of survivors, family, and friends, which raises millions of dollars while connecting riders across the country.
